Our tape, which was developed jointly with Toyo-Chem, is able to stick to any type of foam. It is sold either by itself or pre-attached to the sponge of your choice.

Our products are sold at various home centers. The types of rubber sponge available are NR, CR, and EPDM. They are offered in a range of thicknesses and sizes so please feel free to contact us for specifics.

Characteristics

Issue:

Generally, double-sided tape easily peels off of EPDM-based rubber.
As such, you must wait a few days in order for it to really stick.

Resolution:

The DF2400CH series has much better adhesive properties so that it is less likely to peel off of EPDM-based rubber.

Issue:

The adhesive strength of the double-sided tape tends to deteriorate when exposed to the sulfur contained in the the rubber sponges.
As the tape becomes yellow and begins to peel off of the release paper, the adhesive force is greatly reduced.

Resolution:

The DF2400CH series has an increased resistance to sulfur. Thus, the adhesive force is less likely to decrease.
